Excellent quality punch set for a great price
What a deal on a whole set of what used to be called chassis punches. I needed one for a stainless steel sink to add an air break. The established brand cost twice as much for a single punch. I checked these out on some scrap first and they work great. My contractor called them "magic punches" as he has been drilling these holes all this time with predictably disasterous results (big drills in sheet metal are never a pretty sight).

but something would have been nice.
Ideally this should have some instructions. Not hard to figure out, but something would have been nice.

All but 1/2" are good.
These stack up against the best of them, with the exception of Slug-Busters (Because of splitting the knocked out metal to make removal easier.Pros-- Ball bearing on the larger bolt.- Price; $10 when I bought them.Cons-- No flat surfaces to put a wrench on to aid in removal/unscrewing; have to use a Pipe Wrench to separate the two portions.- 1/2" bolt is threaded on both ends; this makes it almost impossible to use. The first time I tried to use the 1/2" I bent it.At the price when I bought mine I could afford to purchase a 1/2" Klein or Greenlee Knockout and still be under $30.I have an Electrical Contracting Company and use a Hydraulic Punch Set and was just looking for a less bulky Knockout set for smaller jobs; this fits the bill.

Not as described in any way.
These punches are not sized as clamied (question 1) but for for pipe/conduit "sizes". For example, the 1/2 inch punch actually makes a 7/8" hole. The "Ledgends Creek" brand is wrong. I received the Harbor Freight Tools Pittsburgh brand punch set. Totally misleading. I couldn't use it to punch an actual 3/4" hole so returned it.

Dull, and gets a lot more dull the first couple times you use them
Sort of a waste of money. Yeah, they work, but not well. They're just not made from the best material - It's not hard and it doesn't hold the edge. I'm only cutting steel electrical cabinets, which is what they're designed for, but they all end up doing dull after a few holes. I end up hanging on the wrench. And I'm even using a bit of lube. The other problem is that they're not cut properly to release the metal potato-chip-donut cutout after the cut is done, which is just screwdriver work, but seriously. Simple to fix. Why didn't they?
