The units work as advertise doing a great job at it, remember they are 3.0 adapters and may not work as well for some electronics with 2.0.

I needed this exact device in order to couple a set of different cords and this worked perfectly.

Not a lot one can say about extensions. They work as they should. The housing is metal with snug fitting terminals.

They work great for charging, but they are not good for external drives. All my phones will not recognized with the external drive attached. This was the main reason i bought them.

None of the 3 connectors worked and I am returning them for a refund. amazon advised me I did not have to return the connectors and a refund was issued promptly.01-09-21 MCSPER contacted me and said they would replace the connectors at no charge and i was impressed and appreciative. I received the items on 01-12-21 and they would work on things like Kindle readers, Kindle Fire tablets and Android phones both as chargers and data transfers. However when connected to mass storage devices. Windows responded that device was not recognized so they would not work and that was the particular application I wanted them for.
