Very elegant starter set. Loved the personalized thank you from The Lettering Tribe. This is a beautiful, travel-friendly sized kit. But don’t let the size fool you, it’s fully loaded, thoughtfully Love-crafted. Being a calligraphy enthusiast whose purchased many sets, this is BEST VALUED for all you receive-a beautiful wooden dual function oblique, 2 bottles of ink, 10 nibs, a very thorough, LEGIBLE, illustrated starter guide with more than expected practice pages and bonus e-books. You can’t beat that!! Despite a little leakage from one of the ink bottles, I still rated 5 stars because of the PHENOMENAL customer service. This is a semi-professional kit. The nibs are varied and well put together. The pen itself is lightweight. I generally prefer a heavier one for more control. But at this price point, it's a nice kit. Be aware though. This type of writing requires strict maintenance on your nibs etc...Get some quality ink, keep your stuff scrupulously clean, and you'll be happy.

I will start off by saying ... What a Great Set to Gift Someone ! Very nice indeed. The packaging is First Class, Upon opening the Beautiful box there is a Colorful Welcome card, that says... And So The Adventure Begins...on the backside is a Thank You, that says, Your Awesome and I Hope You Love Your Calligraphy Kit As Much As I Loved Making It For You. The Lettering Tribe....The Inks are sealed with Rubber stopper, then screw on cap.. then for extra security they are in small zippy bag.. awesomeness. The nibs work well, just don't forget to clean them before use,most are lightly coated with oil to protect from corrosion. As for the Obique pen, worked great for the nibs that came with set as well as my leonardt copperplate nibs. As an extra Bonus a Booklet called Modern Calligraphy &Hand Lettering is included. Plus, this seller will email you a link for a pdf file that has additional fun things to do and learn.Very Happy, 😁 P.S. was going to Gift this Kit, but ...now keeping it for myself... This set is perfect for beginners. At first I had a hard time with the slanted nib but once I figured it out I was very pleased. I wish they all had that little metal piece on top that seems to store some ink. I like the variety of nibs and the ease of use. Getting to experiment with different stiffness is rewarding starting out. The ink is very nice as well and I like that you can adjust the brass holder too. Very comfortable and a great hobby idea for anyone into art or writing

This is a beautiful set if you are interested in exploring the world of oblique lettering.It is a beautiful presentation in a nice box for storage. It comes with everything you need to get started and arrives on time, if not sooner, always a plus 😊.The amount of material that you receive is amazing for such an affordable price!! And an ebook to boot!Just don't order as a gift, you won't want to give it away!Tribely is a wonderful company to work with, very responsive.So good.

Holder is serviceable, nice variety of nibs, but the ink leaked all over the bottle. Glad there was a plastic bag on it, but is going to be quite a mess to pull it out.
