Don't think, just get it, finally instant relief
Should have done this years ago. Back of house covered with large windows and faces south west, frying us in summer. We went from air conditioner on at noon, to on at 4:30-5:00 PM. I have double glass sliding doors, each is 3x8, I put film on one and the difference was amazing, no hot sun hitting me, no bright yellow sun .cast on the carpet. Don't think, just get it, if your room is hot from the sun this is easiest cheapest way to cool it down and you'll save a fortune on AC, this easlily paid for it self in 2 months and I bought 2 3x32ft rolls.Don't buy the expensive application solution, get a spray bottle , add some dish washing soap and shake. Spray window with alot of solution, spray film with a ton of it to, use alot, alot and this will float on the window and you'll have plenty time to adjust, squeegee out and trim. Clean window fist with the soapy water only and squeegee.

Easy and the price is right.
I like this stuff a lot. I live in an apartment with a huge west-facing window. I love the window, but during the summer, the late afternoon sun just bakes my apartment. The window is 4 large panes in a square. I put this film over the bottom 2 panes as a test. As soon as it's back in stock, I am going to buy another roll to do the top 2 windows and hopefully eliminate my drapes. I've come to hate drapes; i want the full open window.Installation was easy, but not a breeze. The film is difficult to cut, so make sure you have sharp, new blades to slice through it. Also, if possible, run a razor blade over the entire window to get every little part of anything off of the window. I didn't do this. I didn't have a straight blade at the time of installation, and it's a rental so I'm not as concerned about it being absolutely perfect. I bought the brown tinted version to go with my exposed brick, and it actually hides the imperfections very well.Another thing, getting the film cut and butted up to the edge of the window is damn near an impossibility. Mine is perfect in some places, but there are also gaps in other spaces. I may get a tube of black caulk and run a bead along where the film meets the edge of the window just to tidy the whole thing up.All in all, i definitely recommend. I emailed the seller to try and see when it's going to be back in stock, but didn't get a date. I'm hoping soon. I'm anxious to knock out the rest of the windows.

Easy to install, looks great
We just had our front yard rejuvenated. It looks amazing. The trouble is my wife wants to keep the blinds open now. My answer to this was to install mirrored tint on all the front facing windows. It lowers the light in the room so the large TV can be seen and it keeps others from seeing inside the room. The install is easy but takes time. Follow the instructions for installing tint on windows and it works. I chose cling on as opposed to adhesive so it can be easily removed. I have since ordered two more sets so I can install this throughout the house. The only downside is it looks silver from outside instead of gold/brown. That might be due to dual pane windows.

This is the thickest, nicest, easiest to install, best coverage I have experienced!
I have used several brands of window tint - I have lived in several homes - and I have put window tint on several windows - BUT I have never come across any window tint that is this Amazing Quality! WOW This is the thickest, nicest, easiest to install, best coverage I have experienced. I would give it more stars if they were available!

Great stuff!
The instructions did not say that I could use it on sun room windows that slanted inward, but I gave it a try and was very pleased with the results. The room is significantly cooler and the application surprisingly easy. It has been over a week and it is staying up. It was a 2 person job for my windows, but with plain vertical windows it would be easy for one person to do the job. I recommend 6-7 drops of liquid detergent (I used Dawn) in a regular sized spray bottle of water. Use your own window squeegee and a plastic "putty knife" about 4 inches wide for the sides (got mine at dollar store). Put a tarp or old towels under the window to catch drips and thoroughly wet both sides of the film. When you peel off the clear protective coating, make sure that the just exposed side goes against the window. the instructions are not clear on which side goes against the window. I chose not to cut the sides of the film until it was up. Worked fine. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat. Cheapest solution I have found for hot room and uv blocking.
