Great blankets, and I like that I can bleach them if needed. They are hospital blankets after all. We use them camping in an rv. I think they are slightly smaller than a regular twin bed, because they perfectly fit the camper bunks. Great blankets for summer nights - they don't make us sweat when it's hot, yet are warm enough for cooler nights. Perfect. For the camper, anyway. I'm buying a few more so I can leave the originals in the camper and have extras for throws at home, or to take with us when we rent a place where we need to bring our own linens. They don't take up a lot of room if you want to travel with them. Also, I've washed them three times at least, and no snags, holes, or shrinkage. They got softer after washing. The weave is tight enough that it shouldn't snag like those open weave cotton blankets. The price is great for cotton blankets, and the pattern of the weave is nice.

We bought these for the kids to use on their beds during hot Texas summers. I waited until they have been washed and dried several times before posting a review. Upon receiving, there was no off smell, I washed the blankets, saw no snags and no visible shrinking. They fit very nicely over a twin bed and give a cotton sheet a little weight to feel cozy yet stay cool. The kids are super hard on all their stuff, making forts with bedding, kicking them off to the floor, only to have the dog lay on it. They have yet to snag, and after being washed many times, look new.This isn't a luxury product, it's not super soft and fuzzy. But it does serve a much needed purpose for layering summer bedding. Overall I am really happy with this purpose.

Like this for summer. A tighter weave means it is less susceptible to snags and pulls - but is not truly snag proof in face of pet claws and toenails. Within a week here (with four pets) had little loops pulled out but it takes a mighty cloth to be pet proof. Benefits: light and cool, adds a touch of weight for comfort, seems durable. It is not soft (or rough) but sturdy cotton.

I have an old thermal blanket that is now looking worn, so I wanted to replace it.This blanket is thicker than expected; weave is tight and intermingled with lighter waffle-weave. Color is vibrant; stitches are durable.Warm, cozy and comfortable. Using it on top of flat sheet in bed, and it is awesome!My old blanket was never this nice, even when new!Very well-made and feels like it will last through many wash cycles!AA++

Gift for my friend.

When I got this, I had just put in the linen drawer without even opening it. But a weird odor was starting to appear. It was a vomit smell. I opened this and for sure, this was what was smelling like vomit. it was still zipped up in the package, but had leaked some odor. It appeared to be unused, and still folded from factory, so smell must be chemicals. You must wash this before using, and should wash upon receiving it.Once washed, and only washed once, it is not a soft and cuddly blanket. I'm assuming over multiple washes it will soften.Looks good, no issue there. And it is a great value. Just be sure to wash it thoroughly before use.

As hoped. The color is exactly like the photo and washed pretty well for me, in terms of maintaining its color. It did leave quite a significant amount of lint in the dryer, however. It’s great for a summer chill or if you sleep with a fan on. With my AC on cool, I find myself having to use a lightweight quilt with this blanket. It does the job as expected, & I’m glad about the color. Great price!

When I was in the hospital, I fell in love with the hospital blanket, so I ordered one - OK make that two! It's the right amount of weight and feels so good! You can even put in the dryer and have a warm blanket just like in the hospital! I have to fight my little dog for the blanket - she loves it too! Guess I'll have to order one for her, too!
