Easy to use.

The fondant flavor wasn’t novel. The only one I think tastes better is Satin Ice.Packaging is modern and cool. Really well packaged, easy to store.The biggest headache is how sticky this fondant is compared to its competitors. The fondant residue was left on my fingers and I needed an unreal amount of powdered sugar to flatten it out.

I love the color and it was just want they wanted for their cake

I know everybody has their preference of the product they like , but I really I'm not looking forward to use this fondant. I would not recommend it for a beginner as well. the fondant is kind of sticky when you try to manipulate it you have to use a lot of cornstarch in order for you to be able to do it right. It tastes good it smells good but when I try to cut sharp shapes out of that fondant they usually stick to my cutters. I have used this fondant very successfully for cutting things out that they need fast drying although I have to leave the fondant to dry a little but itself before cutting Anythink to get the sharp edges that I need. The advantage of that fondant is that it dries relatively quickly and it turns hard Acid Rock. You can airbrush it after it dries and I have beautiful results out of it. Still I would not completely swap my other brand satin ice for covering the cakes and more detailed work. Overall it's a good product just a little stickier than what I would like to work with.

I was worried the black fondant would be nasty but it doesnt have a taste. And to me that is good because it wont ruin or overpower my cakes flavor.

First time using from this company. I hate covering cakes in fondant but this by far was the easiest to use over any that I had before. Had a few issues tearing at the bottom when I was trying to get the elephant skin out but I chalked that up to not doing it often and when I rolled the fondant wasn’t completely even - so user error.

I had read good things about FondX on baking sites, so I decided to give it a try. While I make my own fondant if I have time and the weather isn't hot/humid, I have a couple of brands I like if I'm buying, but I haven't found any that make dark colors that also handle well. I knew FondX offers colors and I hadn't tried it, but I always try white first to see if it's worth taking the risk with color. So, I tried white.I rely on a special two panel sheet to roll my fondant to reduce drying, sticking, over-handling, etc. It also is cleaner. While the FondX didn't stick to the sheets like one brand I dislike, it didn't come off as easily as my preferred brands and homemade. It also failed to produce the sheen the others seem to get when I roll them out in my sheets. I'm pretty quick with getting fondant onto a cake and smoothed out/trimmed, but this stuff was starting to dry out almost instantly. I always have shortening handy to help in case there's premature drying, but this was really bad. I rolled it to a proper thickness, but the drying even caused a few minor tears. For as dry as it was, I actually found that it repaired easier and more seamlessly than other brands, but it was still really frustrating. The elephant skin wasn't as bad as other brands' colored fondants, but I've never seen it this bad with a white fondant that I've colored. The only thing I can think of is that maybe it wasn't as fresh? I know I keep extra fondant around for a while and the white will be more prone to elephant skin if it's older.The taste was good and it had decent mouth feel, but it's not worth buying again or trying colors considering the rapid drying.
