I am very excited to add this book to my home library. The book is thoughtfully composed. I look forward to working my way through it!

I love knit and crochet books. After 40 years of book buying, I find there isn’t much new anymore that I can’t find in what I already have. This book is inspiring, eye candy and filled with useful information about how to use specific patterns. Do they reverse? Can they be shaped? The images just beg you to duplicate the eye catching sample pieces.All patterns here are written and charted. Clearly. I find myself reading it and jotting down ideas. It’s like a treasure hunter map to crochet inspiration. Just fabulous.

But difficult to use. Which is why I docked it a star. Many of the pages use white print on a colored background and others while using black print are also on tinted backgrounds which makes for difficult reading. If you are someone like me who likes to work from paper copies that can be carried around and marked up easily and don’t require a device then you will be annoyed by all this colored paper.

This is an amazing book that has taught me numerous stitches! Explained and illustrated nicely !!

I made blankets for years. I am going exactly the other direction in size - I am making appliques. If I create them... I can really see a need for a book like this with instructions on making odd shapes. I plan on using this book as much as possible.

I love that all the information is included for shaping. I wish more stitch dictionaries were written like this one.

This will be a great resource of patterns and how they form shapes. The only complaint is the text could r be smaller. There is much blank space on the pages so the print could have been several points larger. I’ll need a magnifying glass and reading glasses.

A must have book, lovely written and beautiful illustrations

Un libro che, secondo me, ogni appassionato di uncinetto dovrebbe avere. Nonostante sia in inglese è assolutamente comprensibile. All'interno troverete consigli e schemi per eseguire bellissimi punti. Ideale nella progettazione di capi di abbigliamento all'uncinetto.

El libro explica como adaptar diferentes motivos de crochet. Incluye instrucciones en inglés y patrón de aumentos y disminuciones. Esto último te ayuda a la hora de hacer las adaptaciones de la prenda, bolso...Lo mejor es que tienes las adaptaciones (con gráficos e instruciones) de diferentes motivos (vueltas de punto alto, punto red, concha, calados...)

When I came across this book I had innumerable designs & patterns in my Quiver & just as many questions on how to construct & write a pattern that. This book not only covers in-depth explanation of stitches but also offers a simple approach to creating your own pattern which seems like a daunting task to many like myself. It’s THE BEST Crochet Book I’ve come across. Thank you so much Dora for creating a True Crochet dictionary.
