I have to agree with some of the other reviews regarding the poor adhesive. First off there are no instructions with the product. I have many years of industry experience with adhesive products so I knew to thoroughly clean the work area, then wiped it well with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely and began installing the mat. I rubbed it after placement. I waited about three hours before taking my kayak into the water. It was only about an hour and I saw portions peeling up. The main portion has really come up and will need to clean underneath it, and apply another adhesive to it. $35+ for a 20”x30” piece. I do not recommend this product. It seemed like it may have been old.

We bought this to cut out foot grips for our jet skis. We put them on and they would not stick. We tried putting bricks to hold them down while the sticky stuff would cure, but before we even made it to the lake, they all fell off. Not sticky at all!

This mat is such a simple and low cost solution to preventing dings and chips in the deck gelcoat and improves footing and reduces slipping on the wet deck of our tender.. our dog no longer slips or gets nervous jumping from our boat into our tender! A great, inexpensive solution!
