iPhone 6 / 6s Battery Case, JANX Apple iPhone 6 4.7 Inch Heavy Duty External Protective Battery Case (Slim case, High Capacity 3500mAh, with Lightning Connector Output, MicroUSB Input)

I'll start out by saying I have researched and done my homework on finding a external battery case for my iPhone six while taking in consideration all the different types for size of battery cost actual case protection. And I've wanted to wait at least a week before I wrote anything but for the price it's a good deal but I don't know if it's my case or the case in general they kind of have a mind of their own and you need to pull it out of the case and then put your phone back in for it to be able to charge it which can be a little difficult as it seems impossible to pull your phone out of the case as it's a very snug fit which is good but there's little leverage you can grasp the iPhone to pull it out of the case. I'm sad to say that I probably am going to continue looking for another case that will not have any problems as I have taken my phone out and pushed it back in the case several times that my screen is coming loose and I'm scared that it's going to just slide off my iphone one anytime now

I got it in March and it worked great until a few weeks ago and now it won't hold a charge that well or charge my phone simultaneously. I've even tried different wall plugs and micro usb cords. Nothing has worked. It's the case. I'm not surprised though considering how cheap it was. Might recommend spending more on a Mophie so it will last longer though. I'm about to.

This works amazingly well and I think better then a Moohie for much less than Mophie's retail price. My only nitpick is the surrounding case should be a little more beveled to protect the actual phone from shattering. Not that that has happened, but it looks like it might not protect the phone if it drops face down (neither does the Mophie, as a matter of fact). Still, I'd recommend this case in a millisecond.

I want to give this 4.5 stars, but half stars aren't possible. I can't go 5 stars (yet) because I've only used the case for about a month, but so far, I have very happy with this case. Does not add much bulk or weight, very secure, the grip is fantastic. My only knock thus far is they JANX realized that the case would add enough size to make headphone unusable, so they added a great adaptor, but did not think to have a screen shield like pretty much every other case on the market.Update 2/26/16My charging port has an issue, it sometimes will not charge and plugs just fall out. I tried to e-mail the company, but the warranty address is inactive. I tried to go to the website and google can't find it. Did they go out of business?

The case is quite light, almost as light as other cases that don't have battery. I like that it has a removable top part so it's easy to get my phone out if needed, though I don't see a reason to remove it. Besides the battery it has the features I would expect in a protective case like a rigid support around my phone to protect drops and bumps. There's a button on the back where I can press and see how much battery the case has left which is great to have. I can still fit my iPhone in my pocket easily after putting the case on so it doesn't add a lot to the size of my phone. I can still access my headphone and it leaves plenty of room for my camera. It has a sturdy feel to it and it still feels natural to hold my phone to my ear with the case on. It comes charged so I don't have to spend a lot of time charging the case before using it so that's nice. My iphone's battery seems to work well with it, and now I only have to charge my phone once every other day maybe even once every three days so it's less to worry about.

This battery pack I think, is much larger capacity than the battery that came with my iphone, and it is quite thin, that having it on is like carrying more than 1 extra battery. It feels heavy duty definitely can withstand some bumps, the sides seems to be reinforced so if you bump your phone on the side it's going to hit the bumper of the case and not the phone.It weights about the same as the stapler on my desk which I would say it's light, with the colors silver and black on the case (the silver is a metal like cover on the back where the battery is). With the cover on it's harder for others to tell I have an iphone, but for the extra protection I think that's worth it.I can use the camera just fine with the case on and my iphone don't seem to know the difference I have the battery case on. I find that now I do much more downloading and video chats and stuff during the day, when in the past I remember worrying about power.

It's impossible to take your phone out of the this case! I literally had to break the base and nearly break my phone to remove the case. Also, if you are using a car charger to charge your phone or the case- forget about it! My phone loses charge if I'm charging it in the car and playing music off of my phone. Garbage case! Garbage product! I would definitely not recommend it!

The case is nicely packaged and comes with charging cable. It comes with a user manual that was sufficient for me to follow and install on my phone. The top of it has tabs that lock the top piece in place, so you just flip them open to unlock and removal/installation was easy for me. My iphone was charging right away and took a few minutes for me to figure out how to use the case. For me it was ok to figure out and kind of a no brainer to use. The sides have kind of a rim for protecting the phone. When they say heavy duty it is a tough case thought I don't think I would be subjecting my iphone to so much wear. There is a janx logo on the back of the case so I guess the back of the phone will show the janx logo, but it's not too large so I don't mind. I'm happy with it so far and like this addition to my phone.
