Can't with stand a crash
Had my gopro mounted too my helmet with this mount. Takes awesome while I was at the track riding. Ended up going down and it broke off. But over all great mount if you don't crash the second time using it

Worth every penny. I wish it came with red/black rubber.
I've seen reviews of this thing snapping. I'm not sure how people broke theirs but I flexxed mine pretty hard and it's still solid. I've had this for about a month now so it's time for review. The gaps are perfect. It's cheaper than other alternatives so the trick is that you can't change the mount. You have to use what you see in the picture. As a result it looks silly to have it strapped there with no camera but it does it's job and that's all it needs to do.My only wish is that there were more color options. It would be nice if I could choose black or red rubber instead of that sky blue they provide. Also you have to tuck the straps away unless you want to taste them. It would have been all too easy for then to add a little circular piece to hold the ends of the straps but not a big deal if you are good at DIY modding. As you can see you in the photos I just tucked it under my chin curtain.Worth every penny because it helps me run my YouTube channel: The Magic Jellybean 🎥

Poor quality but then what did you expect?
For what they charge you should expect that it won't last long and that's what will happen. It broke after a few uses, it's difficult to tighten but now, with the newer GoPro's and they stabilization you can get away with it. The Chin is about as close as you can get to a FP POV so it works well in that sense. I'm going to order a different one and see how that holds up.

Weird mount angle, was secure, but extra strap content flaps around.
The arm of this doesn’t protrude out far enough, so my GoPro was tilted in a way that made my footage weird. It straps to the chin of my helmet securely, but it did have a lot of extra strap flapping around which you have to tie off unless you want it whipping your neck. I think for a helmet with a different chin angle this will work, but it did not work well on my Shoei RF-1200, so I returned it.

Stayed in place during my 300 mile Baja ride.
I just used this GoPro mount on my trip to Baja. I rode 300 miles in the desert, mountains, and sand dunes along the ocean. It always stayed in position and it was easy to remove. I could not reattached it without taking my gloves off but that’s no big deal.

Perfect POV for MTB!
I got this to use for mountain biking. It was very easy to install and setup. I wish there was an option to choose the color of the rubber but other than that it is perfect. The position the camera is perfect for POV

Threads stripped out after one week
The mount itself is alright, a little awkward to get positioned correctly and tight enough where it won’t move. However, you can’t rotate the camera up enough to see the road if you lean forward at all, so unless you sit upright most of your video will be of your instrument cluster. The threads stripped out after a week of use, looks like they used cheap aluminum instead of steel. I wasn’t over tightening it like some kind of gorilla, just tight enough where my camera wouldn’t rotate during a ride.
