I am very pleased with these tap shoes. I used to dance a lot when I was younger and have been missing tap so I decided to give these a try. If you are looking for professional quality then you'll want to skip over these but if you want something to either use for lessons, practice, or just for fun these are perfect. They fit true to size and the slide buckle is easy to use.

I ordered these for a fun little 2 month adult tap class some of my friends and I decided to take. When I took them out of the bag they came in, the smell was so bad, I had to air them out before I could even handle them. After wearing them for a 45 minute class, wow! Very nasty smell! It took about a month to get most of the original funky smell to go away. The toe area puckered in easily, and it was kind of hard to get to that area with a finger to push it back out. They worked for what little I used them, though.

1st pair of tap shoes ever. I don't know how they will sound, but so far I am extremely happy with my purchase! I normally wear a 10 in tennis shoes / boots so I ordered a size 10 1/2 M and they fit perfectly. *Note: I have narrow feet.They are well constructed and feel comfortable when worn. They feature a non skid surface, a lightly padded ankle and a Velcro strap for convenience. The upper portion of the shoe is not stiff, like plastic, but flexible. There is also no overbearing smell. Perfect for a beginner, like me! Would buy again, but I think these shoes are built to last.

Finally a shoe that fits....I ordered a half size larger as suggested and it fits great. Not a bad tap shoe!

These are excellent tap shoes for a reasonable price. I bought them for my 10 year old. The first time she wore them to her tap lesson, the teacher asked for the link. The sound is so good for children's tap shoes. Sizes fit in accordance with my daughter's street shoe size.

These shoes are really nice! I was TIRED of buying new tap shoes!! Especially for children, they are shaped more like a day to day shoe than other tap shoes which are often shaped like a woman's heel shoe and pinch kids toes. These have lasted much longer, no sign of wear, no complaints of squeezed feet.

Ordered these for my niece, and they fit perfectly (and just as listed). They also make a great tap sound! Sometimes taps aren't that loud or make a weird clicking sound, but these produce a great tap.

I bought these to add tap into my exercise routine. I saw an ad for a tap exercise kit, but the price was outrageous. These shoes fit perfectly even though I normally can’t buy shoes without trying them on. Wider toe band fit perfectly. The quality seems good, I have no reference to other tap shoes. I’m only wearing them for about 30-45 minutes and just as a beginner tapper.
