Great tech for your home
The media could not be loaded. After using these WiFi smart plugs for a few weeks I can say I am very happy so far. They work just like advertised. Connectivity and functionality have been pretty solid. The great thing about these is that they are compatible with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant devices. This is great if you are into voice control and automation at your home or office. I have been using these WiFi plugs for lamps and other electronics around my home. They are also a good option for appliances. From a hardware perspective, these are made of plastic but it feels like they can take some abuse. They are also low profile and blend nicely around your home. For products like this I usually worry about the software / app support, but the “Smart Life App” which you need to get everything set up is easy to use and works very well. I have been using the Android version but it is also available on iOS.I included a review video and a few pictures to give you an idea of what you get. I do recommend you get the set since it offers better value in my opinion.

Exceeds expectations!
Exceeds expectations! I was worried that the one I placed farthest from my Wi-Fi AP would struggle to work since it's a known difficult area of the house. That area has to cross several walls with many metal obstructions from an oven, furnace, and ducts, and even partially obstructed by a metal roof. The Wi-Fi AP reports only a 5% CCQ for the smart outlet, but it still works every time perfectly and doesn't have any significant latency! That's awesome!I am using these outlets to automate the powering of Christmas lights in our great room, loft, and children's rooms. After I check to see what the idle power consumption is of the smart outlet when in the "off" setting (using a Kill-a-Watt meter, which I haven't done yet), I may buy many more of these if they can reduce idle power consumption by TVs, Chromecast's, etc. I'll report back after I've done the testing!By the way, apart from using the Android app with automation scheduling, I've also linked these to my Google Assistant and have had perfect success using the Google Home, and Google Home Mini, to control these outlets, too. Setup was painless and the instructions were adequate.

Unreliable operation & Doesn’t work with Tuya Smart life app
Purchased these to automate our Christmas lights around the house. I have several Smart switches & “in the wall” outlets as well as some plug in style outlets that I installed a few years ago. Never had an issue. The Tuya Smart life app works well. For whatever reason, the smart plugs I purchased a few years ago are no longer available. I found these…. They look identical… and the comments mentioned that they work with the Smart Life app. I discovered that they were impossible to pair with the Smart Life app. I tried many times in different locations and with different Wi-Fi routers…. Out of frustration from hearing the significant other complain about manually turning on / off all the lights around the house, I decided to use the app included with these plugs. Indeed, they pair easily. The issue with the app is that it misses turning items on / off on a daily basis. Soon after I installed these, I discovered I need more….. so again, I searched Amazon, and found smart plugs that mentioned that they work with the Tuya Smart Life app. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package to discover that the box was identical to the previous box…. The model number was slightly different but appeared to be the same manufacturer. Same result as above.

They work, but ONLY with the cloud intelligence app
Works as advertised, only on the 2.4ghz band. Minor annoyance, but I was able to set up both on my home network. What I'd love is if these (and seemingly all the other ones) weren't locked to only one particular app. Like, if they all worked with Smart Life, or Gosund or even Cloud Intelligence, or preferably some open source app, that would be preferable. But these work. With the Cloud Intelligence app.

Great plugs at a great price that work with the "Smart Life" app
TLDR; If you are a "Smart Life" user, these are the plugs you're looking for. Best price, solid build, easy setup.I've been slow to dip my toe into home automation. I've have a few Wemo plugs but their software is junk and I've been looking for a better experience with some other manufacturer else before committing. What I found is that a ton of Chinese manufacturers (for better or worse) are leveraging the generic "Smart Life" app, which I have found to be intuitive, flexible and modern. Easy to use and setup. I purchased my first smart bulbs this year and they work with the "Smart Life" app. After that experience, and the fact that there are multiple manufacturers with hardware that integrates, I'm all in on this ecosystem. The app works great on both iOS and Android, along with Google Home and Alexa integration. The hardware, including these plugs here, are a great value and well made.I will now always look for hardware that works with the "Smart Life" app before purchase.

Simple and Simply Works
The media could not be loaded. I have wanted to try out Smart Plugs for a long time, but I didn't want to invest the money that I THOUGHT it took, until I found these Esicoo Smart Plugs. Once you get them connected to your WIFI using the app on your phone, it's SUPER easy to schedule them for on/off times or connect them to your smart hub like Google Home or Amazon Alexa. I had to use the AP method to connect them using the app, instead of the automatic method, which was a little frustrating at first, but I figured it out within a few minutes. After that, the other 3 were super easy to connect. As long as you don't mind some minor frustrations with setup, you'll love these things. They simply work and the app is super simple to use. Check out my video for more details. Great product for people who want to make their dumb house smart!
