Not suitable for Smart 452 Roadster
So I have 3 issues with my Smart Roadster:1. The roof isn't working2. The fan heater is not blowing3. The airbag light is on due to the loose connection under a seatI plugged this code reader in, first I had to change the language as it was set to German and then I ran an auto-scan which found 2 codes in the whole car totally irrelevant to any of my issues.I tried manual instead of auto and there are a very limited set of items that this reader can detect. A bit odd as previously I have used a Carsoft i980, which is older, to reset the airbag light. This seems to be worse.I also tried to update the software but it was up to date for Smart cars.I can't reset the airbag light or identify the issues with my car so am returning this.

Fantastic piece of kit
This is a product review (I only say as some people say they arrived quickly etc which isn't a product review!!): I had a number of issues with my Mercedes and didn't feel that it warranted an expensive trip to a dealership. Well icarsoft diagnosed and rectified the issues at a fraction of the cost of a visit, and I get to use it anytime I need it. As it can also be updated I know to an extent it is future proof. Finally it comes with a carry case which is always a winner in my opinion :-)

Works on suspension fault codes
Had a suspension fault on my E280CDi airmatic. Pumped up high and stayed up all the time. Used this diagnostic to run report that found a broken wire on the pressure relief valve. Soldered it up and the fault went. Also used on a CLK200 running lumpy, fault indicates wiring to MAF or MAF itself defective. Does what is says on the box!

Crap
Supposedly for Mercedes cars but my cheap OBD2 machine i bought does a better job and picks up the faults, not once did this machine give me any indication of a fault code
