Manual Can Opener Stainless Steel Smooth Edge-no Sharp Cuts Best for Arthritis

Okay, you would have to be completely stupid to not realize that there are a few ringer reviews posted here. This can opener is just a 5.98 can opener with a large handle. I like the larger handle because it's easier to turn. But there is no miracle here. It operates just like a regular can opener and is vastly overpriced. If this is what you need all you have to do is decide if you are willing to be ripped off on the price. I might have give it more stars if it lasts a couple of years, like can openers used to. I just threw away one that I bought on Amazon that laster less than a year.

The can opener works, however I have found that it takes a bit more strength to use compared to another i own. Time will tell if it will hold up in an emergency situation. I will definitely purchase another to compare and have piece of mind that i will have a backup in case of emergency.

Oh my goodness, what have I been doing in the kitchen without this can opener? Well, let me tell you, I have been prying open cans with knives and hurting my hands using inferior can openers. I treat this can opener like gold because it works so well. You never think you will have a problem finding a can opener until you have to. They are not built like mom's or grandma's any more. I never wash this opener at all, ever. I simply take a thin clean towel, and pretend I am opening a can to clean it. I put the thin clean towel between the circle wheels and twist the knob until the wheels go all the way around. Every time I use it, I clean it like that.4-22-2016 I docked this can opener one star as it bit the dust. The gears just will not turn any more and I have babied it like no other piece of equipment I own. However, while it lasted it was a great can opener

I sent it back. Very generic looking can opener. Nothing written on packaging to verify that it is stainless steel or that handles are rubberized when they are plastic. When I purchased it was $18.99, but looks like something you could buy in a 99 cents store.

This product arrived on time and packaged well. This is a decent quality heavy duty stainless steel manual can opener, with a comfort grip. I find it very easy to use. I have very little strength in my hands so I need a can opener that is easy to turn. The cuts are clean but I wouldn't exactly call the edge it leaves "smooth" as it's stated in the description/title. The edge it leaves is no worse than you'd expect with any other manual can opener, but not smooth like you find with those under rim can openers.I did receive this product at a discounted rate for my unbiased review but please don't confuse that with "I was paid to sing it's praises" I've tested many products and I don't give stars based on a discount, I give stars based on performance of the product. This product earned it's four star rating!

Ordered this opener because of positive reviews & advertised ease of operation, It arrived March 27th. My wife has arthritis in her hands, I do not, when the opener arrived I tried it & thought it a little difficult to use, my wife said she could use it. One month later my wife nor I can not begin to open a can with it. Unfortunately for me the time limit for return is past.

This is a good can opener, works fine but not what I expected. Thought it was a different product but this item works just as well. Had to wait a little bit for it to be shipped thopugh. I had various type of electric openers but size of can was a problem sometimes and cleaning it also. So went back to the old way and the new opener just glides along the can without effort which is a plus for me.
