We got this for our 6 month old jack russell mix pup, to fence her off in the kitchen when we are at work.First week, she escaped from it 3 times - twice by pushing it away from the wall, we even had a heavy item placed against it to hold in place, was not an issue for her apparently - she is 7 Ibs fyi. On week two she figured out how to just hop right over - so it became a lost cause at this point.ALSO - there isn't really much to hold it in place, besides the 2 floor stand things, and even with those - it was very shaky, and had to be leveraged with other furniture / household items. I think it would only hold back a very unambitious dog, who is just fine with being confined.If your dog knows how to jump - get a higher fence!

I am shocked that this is as good as it is. I use it on a 47-inch wide opening to my front porch. My pit bull accepts it, and doesn't try to jump it (though some dogs might). I am surprised that the wooden parts are NOT too thin. The feet are sturdy and fit well. Very easy to open, no assmebly required, except fitting the feet on. I don't know how long it will last if exposed to the elements, but I don't intend to leave it out in the rain. For normal use inside, it would be great, as well.

Great dog gate. So happy! Packed very well. Box within a box. Well made and exactly as shown. My favorite part are the two footed pieces that came with it. The white finish is very nice. Mine arrived flawless. Plan to use it on my porch so my small beagle and dachshund can be with me and dont have to worry anymore if they escape. Gate is sturdy. Peace of mind!

LOVED these gates, we have 3 other shorter gates, our house has an open floor plan, so these gates were used in front of our nicer rooms, i.e. the living and dining room. These gates are super sturdy and really attractive, we’ve had quite a few comments from friends and family asking where we purchased them. The price is worth the peace of mind, we have a very strong Golden Retriever puppy and she can’t push them over or get around them.

This is a great fence/gate for pets. Of course, even the smallest dog can knock it over if it absolutely WANTS TO, but for normal non-crazy well-behaving dogs, this one does the trick. I squeezed one section between the wall and fridge, so it doesn't even need the extra foot supports - for now. Also, the 360 degree hinges let us twist and turn the other sections any way we want. Very much recommended!

This gate is nice looking but it does not keep my dog from going through. I have a 6 month old French bulldog who knows how to pull and push this gate open effortlessly. I tried standing it up in multiple ways and using the walls to keep him from going through and within two minutes of me walking away, he's already running upstairs to see what I'm up too.

I really like this gate. It does exactly what I wanted it to. It could use 1 additional foot supporter ,so it has one for each section. It looks very good as well. Not sturdy enough if you have a dog that try’s to jump on it though.. I have a 7 pound dog and she does not try to move it.

Gate was made well and attractive. I would have gone with 5 stars but there is one drawback..I picked this gate so I would not have to put holes in the wall. Unfortunately, the gate slides on hardwood floors and would be useless. I had to attach the ends to the wall after all.
