2pc ROLOC ROLL LOCK 1" MANDREL ARBOR SANDING DISC HOLDER TYPE R PAD 1/8" SHANK

I was ecstatic to discover these 1/8 inch mandrels because I have wanted to be able to use Roloc sanding discs on my small craft tools for a long while now. Quarter inch mandrels fit tools that are much too heavy for the work I do with gourds. I wanted to be able to use my Dremel tools for sanding and none of their sanding kits are half as good as these easy change discs. I've been gerrymandering the discs onto a MicroLux Sander(which works OK but MicroLux just won't take the heavy use that a Dremel will. So I bought 4 of these the minute I saw them listed on Amazon. But the first one out of the box bent over into a right angle when I turned it on. I've begun communicating with Shuie, the company that provided the mandrels so will keep you updated on their response.

Not one of the various parts of this product are properly centered or true, so the whole thing wobbles like crazy when the motor of my rotary tool is turned on. It's so bad that the vibrations from the off-center spinning once it is attached to my dremel make it impossible to hold even slightly still. The pad shakes and spins right off the mandrel after the motor stops rotating, no matter now tightly I screw it into the mandrel. Only about a third of the pad actually comes into contact with the surface I'm sanding because the pad bumps up and down with the off-center rotation. Totally shoddy manufacturing with absolutely no attempt at quality control. What's more is they refused to give me a shipping label to return their crap product, and it wasn't worth the cost to me to ship it back, so it was the equivalent of refusing to refund me or accept a return.

A little bit weak cause the diameter.

Out of balance and bent shaft first use. Buy a 1/4" die grinder and don't even try to run roloc with 1/8" shaft!
