Chinese 2x is American size 8/medium
Bought a 2x gave it to my friend who wears a size 8/medium even on her the 2x trunks to this were tight for her as well. Too bad I really liked this a lot. Fabric and color was beautiful

Too small and see through fabric
Spent data reading reviews about this dress not only on Amazon but other sites sucb as wish. From what I gathered, people loved it but it ran small so to order a few sizes larger. Well this seller was the only one who had it in stock in 3xl which is 3 sizes larger then what I wear. Also this seller is more then doubled what this suit sells for on other sites/sellers but again l, only one who claimed to have the size I thought I needed. Ordered way large yet still too small. Very disappointed. The flowing "dress" part fabric is like a mesh see through. Beautiful suit though if it would of actually fit correctly and if I wasn't self conscious of my abdomen being visible.

So glad I ready the reviews!
After reading the reviews on sizing, I did what the suggested and ordered the XXL ( I am normally a M/L in american sizes), but received an XXXL, which I am actually thankful for because it fits perfectly. I am 5'5" and about 165 lbs. The shorts are a tad short, but it's okay because the fabric of the top covers it well. The top fit very well also, I am a 38C and this was perfect. My husband and mother-in-law both said it looks great on me! Very pleased with this purchase!

Order bigger!!
It's lovely! Material is kinda cheap and smells funny when you first get it, but I really liked how it looked like a dress. I ordered a XXL when I usually fit a M. If you are self conscious about your abdomen, this will hide it well. I'm happy with my purchase, but be sure to order a much larger size!

Sized smaller than standards.
Love the style and design, made with ok quality. Size is very small. Not sized to American size charts. Seller was prompt and delivery was sooner than expected.
