Terry Harrison Artists Watercolours: Three Greens Set

These three greens have helped me quickly, conveniently, have nice tree colors ready to go on my travel palette. I have been able to create more realistic shadows on my trees with these in combination with how Terry Harrison teaches you to apply them in his books. I am really happy with the pigment load and quality, it is very likely made by or very similar to the Daler Rowney professional watercolors.

I love these three green colors. They are very well pigmented so a little goes a long way, and the tubes are huge. These are greens that you can use right out of the tube, they are especially believable for landscapes where you want varied greens.

I've been using this trio for several years. They go so well together, and are beautiful. My last order of them never arrived, but I'll just try again. They're worth the effort.

I like these because, as a new watercolor artist, I am still working on my brushstroke and techniques, and it's one less thing for me to wade through. I can never get my greens right.I can see mixing my own in the future to get broader tones. But for now this is very helpful so that I can focus on painting and not color theory just yet :)

I used these colors a few times epically with landscapes. The colors can be blended using three shades of green - a darker green for shadows, a medium one for details and a lighter one for highlights. I really like the size of the tubes.

Colors should be in every pallet!

All three tubes of paint were very watery. The colors are not true to the descriptions/names. None of the three are very attractive colors, and certainly are not natural-looking greens. When mixing with water, each other, and/or other colors, unblended pigments in the paint introduce blobs of yellow or blue, and even black! All three colors dry very flat-looking, too. All in all, I do not recommend these paints.
