16" leather messenger bag laptop case office briefcase gift for men computer distressed shoulder bag

This is the worst product I've ever gotten from Amazon. Made worse by the fact that it's impossible to return. If you're considering ordering this, and you have a 90% off coupon, save your money, it's not worth it. You will never use this as bag (or as anything else, mine is still sitting in the box it came in, in my garage. Not because I think it will stink up my garbage can, I know that'll happen, mostly because I'm still upset that I wasted my money. I'm also hoping the seller comments on my review, if they do, then I'll post pictures. I wish someone would invent scratch and sniff pictures). You'll take one look at it and know that you've been lied to by the pictures on Amazon, then you'll attempt to return it and find out you can't. Enough on my frustration and the frustration you'll have if you make the mistake of buying this, let's move on to what's wrong with it. 1. It doesn't look anything like what's in the picture. 1.a. Guess what? It doesn't look better than the picture, it looks worse. A lot worse. Imagine the kinda cool looking weathered bag in the picture, that looks like you could carry your laptop and maybe some books in it...now imagine the same bag, only make it a really horrible color and make it smell really bad, now imagine knowing I told you before you bought it, but you figured it'll be alright, it can't really be that bad, and now you realize you're wrong and you can't get your money back. Are you getting there? Can you sorta imagine how you're going to feel when this package arrives? 2. The leather is weathered looking at all. It's just kinda pinkish and not worn looking. 3. It's possible you're trying to find a gift for someone you hate, I've been there. You want to make it look like you tried, but honestly, you want them to know that you purposely bought them a steaming pile of poo. Like maybe a step-brother? Maybe a bratty nephew? If you're in that situation, then this might actually be perfect. 4. Maybe you like it when your hands smell funny after you touch something? Like even if you try to wash them, and even if you use Lava, the smell is still there. You can smell the soap when you're done washing, but you also smell the funny smell right underneath that. If you like that, then this is probably going to be perfect for you. TLDR: Don't buy this unless you're looking for a gift for someone you hate.

Got this as a high school graduation gift for my male cousin. He really liked it and his mom even said, "This is great!" because he needed a new bag. It was nice leather, quality seemed durable. Initially a little stiff but it will soften up as he uses it. Unfortunately, the side pockets don't fit his cellphone, but I advised him not to keep valuables in those pockets anyway. The insides of one of the pockets had a sticky substance (remarked by my sister to our cousin) and so he might have to wipe it down so the sticky substance will not get on his items he puts in the pockets. Otherwise, well received.

What a bargain! Real leather yall (it's got that new leather smell...mmmmmm). I ordered it next day shipping and it shipped quickly. Holds my nearly 16" laptop, charger, phone, files, notebook and lots of other stuff at the same time. Just as nice as bags at twice the price. Has three different partitions inside and two zippered interior pockets. Also has two side pockets with buckles that would hold pens/travel kleenex/lipgloss, etc. but probably no room for a phone unless you're rockin the post-millenium Nokia. No regrets here!

I've been looking for a new messenger bag, and this is an amazing upgrade from my laptop backpack! I believe the first words out of my mouth when I opened the box was "bad ass." This is a sharp looking bag. Great size for a laptop (I have a 15" Dell) and lots of other stuff. The buckles might not be ideal for people who are in and out of their bag all day, but I think they look professional and cool. Great value for a great product.

For the price, this is great, but the holes in the belt stretch and when you carry heavy things, like a MacBook, unfortunately the belt opens and your bag falls down. This is probably easy to fix from the factory

The bag arrived quickly and in great condition. I love the look of it and no it will age beautifully. It is a quality product and a great value.

For the money, it was worth it, I guess. Will probably have to have the straps and buckles resewn and reinforced at a local leather shop here in town in the near future because they look really week. Also the color was a lot lighter than what I was expecting. Would buy again

I bought this bag about 5 months ago. I am a high school teacher, and I use it to transport my laptop and student assignments that need grading. Basically, the bag was being used as a "brief" case, except that I carry assignments instead of legal documents. In short, the piece of leather that is stitched to the main body of the bag that acts as the attach point for the metal hinge for the shoulder strap ripped. I have contacted the seller about a replacement, but I have not heard anything back yet. I will update this review with updates as they happen.
