UPDATE: I have now had these fitted for 16 months and they have performed perfectly as numberplate lamps; 100% reliability.I have a 2006 Mercedes W211 E280. Some months ago, the onboard diagnostics warned me of a failed number plate bulb, and I decided to replace the old festoon filaments with LED units.I tried three different types before buying these. The first set (with heatsinks) started failing after about a week; they got dim, started flickering and finally failed. The second set (without heatsinks) failed in the same manner and timescale as the first, and I could see that the surface mount resistors were beginning to burn. The third set from Halfords would not work at all!I was about to give up and go back to filaments, but I decided to give these a go first. I am so glad that I did! First, these are so much better built and the circuitry is more advanced than the previous three that I tried from other manufacturers. Secondly, these have so far not suffered from the failings and short life of the others, and there has been absolutely no flickering or dimming. Thirdly, these are extremely bright and illuminate the number plate just like a brand new vehicle.I have received no CANBUS errors and I hope the reliability continues... only time will tell.

Have installed the led bulb in a door access control entry system located outside approximately one year ago.Low energy draw - light is on 24/7.Brightly lights up door entrance and immediate surrounding area so that person with key can see key and lock and accurately insert the key in the lock and turn the key in the lock. Marvellous.I have only had positive comments from other people... how the door entry system - through this led bullet shaped bulb - lights up a small part of their world in times of darkness.

One unit failed within a month of installation.

I would recommend they come in good use for when it’s dark

Excellent brightness, and they are 1000x better than standard factory reg plate bulbs however my vehicle highlighted a canbus error once they were installed which is my reason for giving 3 stars only, listing isn’t accurateCar model: Abarth 595 compitzione (2018)Just in case others with this vehicle decide to purchase

Had these bulbs installed for around 3 months now and they are perfect! Completely changed the look in my car replacing those yellow bulbs! Would recommend!
