FONDX Mirror Glaze Piping Gel, Clear, 20 oz

This product has been our secret ingredient for cakes, cookies, any and all food product decorations. The only problem is if you use it with marshmallows it needs time to dry. If you are just mixing it with your basic food coloring you will find it is always susceptible to damage. So contemplate it’s use. I find this gel great as it is flavorless and odorless. It shows up brilliantly bright when used like a paint on a food product. The primary problem I found is the vendor only offers a large portion vs smaller sizes for home use. The product will last when stored in a cool area but like all food products will get a stale taste after a couple of years so you throw it out and again have to purchase more than you can use in a reasonable amount of time.

Love the glaze and shine the piping gel left on the strawberries and raspberries of a Tres Leches Cake I made. Just stir the amount needed and apply on fruit. So easy! I think the value for the amount is worth the price, especially since you can use it for much more than applying on fruit. There was no taste left from applying it to the fruit, just tasted the fruit. So very happy I found this piping gel. Never knew of it before I purchased it. I do recommend.

I like this product it was easy to color easy to spread and it made my cakes beautiful

This product is ever so easy to use. And it tastes good as well. I used it to glaze a fresh fruit tart with French pastry cream. It was delicious. I put a small-ish amount of the glaze in a small pyrex dish and microwaved it for 30 seconds (stopping every 5 seconds) till I could brush it on. It turned out to be ever so pretty and delicious. I am surely going to order more.

Bought this product for the purpose of attaching an edible image to the top of a cake. The image adhered beautifully to the top of a buttercream frosted cake without it needing to be placed on fondant first. Abd it did not make the image bleed. I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can do with it!

Nice product dries fast and crystal clear

Crystal clear, good tasting glaze for fruit and good alternative to a huge bucket of nappage nutre. The consultancy is slightly softer than the nappage I used to use, and piping gel from Wilton for sure. Good for glazing parties and covering the top of cakes. I will purchase larger size next time.

Having celiac means you HAVE to make a lot of your own, well… everything. I found this, and used this to make slime for a ghostbusters cake, worked out swimmingly. And it’s apparently gluten free! I will be keeping this in my dessert toolbox.
