Great product! my only complaint is the bag. It’s thin and burst from being stuck to the freezer wall. Glad freezer bag to the rescue 🤗

Works well , I made 5 pounds of ice that I keep in a bag freezer and when I use some I turn on the ice maker a replace. To really get the ice hard enough to not melt when it touches liquid you have to freeze it after the ice is made but only for about 10 minutes. It makes a basket of ice which is a half a pound of ice in like 30 minutes

Fast, efficient, sleek ice maker works great! Can be tucked away when not in use. There’s a drain at the bottom to empty the water in the bottom which makes it handy when ready to store the device. It begins making ice in about 5-10 minutes. I’m happy with my purchase and the seller delivered promptly as expected.

After giving this portable ice maker a test run, I ended up returning it within hours. It definitely delivers on its primary function—making good ice quickly—but the noise level was just too much for my upstairs location. Size was another surprise; it took up more counter space than I anticipated. This would be a perfect addition to a kitchen, outdoor entertainment area, or RV where the sound wouldn't be as noticeable and space isn't at such a premium.While it's marketed as "portable," I'd call it more "relocatable"—it works great for vacation homes or RVs, but it's not something you'd want to move around frequently. The media could not be loaded. This is replacing an igloo I had for a few years. It’s basically the same with a few improvements that are thoughtful. It chugs out cubes every few minutes and keeps going and going. It’s much quieter than the old one, and the ice basket that catches it is a softer plastic, so it doesn’t ‘clang’ when they drop. Included is a scoop you attach with a suction cup that keeps it off the countertop. And, really nice, you can open the lid fully under the cabinets, if positioned away from the cabinet supports. We had to slide the old one forward to remove ice. It’s slightly narrower, and in my small kitchen, every inch helps. Pleasantly surprised at how nice this is. You just fill it with water (and keep it full as the level drops), push the power button, and select large or small cubes. I always pick large. It takes an extra min or so, but the cubes last longer. Fair warning-the basket area is not a freezer. You must remove the ice cubes and stick them in the freezer. The unit will shut off when the basket is full. I recommend this ice maker

I purchased this icemaker last August along with the Asurion 2-year protection plan.The unit worked perfectly for a while and subsequently stopped producing ice.The “add water” light remains on although the unit is completely full.I contacted product support at Amazon and was advised to clean the unit, rinse it then try to run it again.This I did twice with no improvement.I contacted Asurion since I have a warranty and was told to contact the manufacturer instead.After a number of emails back-and-forth from the manufacturer, I’ve still received no acceptable response nor remedy to the problem.Each has referred me back to the other, so the runaround continues.
