Babussa oil is in my favorite shampoo and is amazing on my hair, so I researched it and found that Barbussa oil is non comedegenic, not scented, soaks in quickly, it has vitamin E, it has phytosterols for anti aging, and it has lauric acid for the skin elasticity. So, I stopped using and eating chemicals. I wash my face with organic raw honey or Adzuki bean scrub, then a rose water spritz then I need to moisturize when I'm done. In the winter I use raw Shea butter on my face. In the summer raw Shea butter is a little too heavy, in the summer Babussa oil is my go to. Initially I thought this bottle design was silly, it was still cool when I get it, so it was solidish. Well the first 90 degree day I had half a bottle of soup so I poured it out into a mason jar. This worked much better for me. If you need to liquefy yours and the weather is not cooperating take a warm glass of water, put your Babussa bottle in the warm water and in short order, you will have more liquidy Babussa.I also substitute Babussa oil in homemade product recipes were coconut oil is the ingredient. (Like deodorant, my husband's mustache wax, my homemade muscle rub.)

This is a great body oil that leaves your skin feeling nice and smooth! I used as an oil shower rinse, I applied the oil and then rinsed with cool water and my skin felt great which whenever I use coconut oil it feels great also the thing that sold me is that my skin "stayed" soft not for just 1 day but multiple days and I didn't even apply oil for other showers but my skin had a nice softness to it! I didn't like this for my hair so I will just continue to use for my body instead. Also it comes solid but it def melts if in humid or hot environment, mine has completely melted in the bottle as it's pretty warm in my house so it makes for easier application in the shower which is a plus!

This oil is very lite, soft and scent free. I love it. It doesn’t break my skin out and is perfect for my shae butter.

Firtst, this oil becomes a solid (like coconut oil). It is not liquefied. It is pacakaged in the this vertical container and you cannot use it unless you melt it or cut open the container. If you continue to melt it it will lose its properties. So get a glass jar when item is received. I had to cut open the package and transfer Babassu into the jar. The quality of the oil from this distributor is high quality. Packaging is rated no stars. Now for the important part. About me. I have dreadlocks and I need an oil that absorbs and also maintaines moisture. Babassu does that. I apply it to my scalp and to each individual lock. There is no oil residue or leaking on the skiin. This oil does not sit on your collar either. I used coconut oil on/off for years but it leaves an odor after many days and the oil residue remains on top of my locks and scalp without maximum penetration. Typically I have to massage coconut oil into my scalp for an arduous amount of time. Also with Babassu if you work out the heat from your body inadvertently gives your scalp a heated oil treatment. Real working out like cardio or sitting in the sauna. I also use this oil and children's mixed hair and it softens on contact. The benefits of this oli are no odor. Absobs quickly. Dissolves with deep penetration.Inexpensive. Highly recommend for mixed hair, ethnic coarse hair and dreadlocks. Oh yeah after I apply to my hair I put the remaining on our skil, luxurious.

I never tried it as a butter, but I have used it now for a week as an oil, and I love it! Now this is my new staple body oil, along with rice bran oil, and a mixture of avocado+almond+apricot kernel. It's superb, the way it spreads over my skin! It makes me think of how mysterious nature is, to create this moment of when this oil glides like magic over my skin,--and it is all natural, nothing added. It makes me happy to live during the time when we have access to products from around the world. Anyway, it is very moisturizing and keeps the moisture throughout the day, feels velvety smooth and thirst-quenching on my skin. Love it!

Really Nice oil for hair and body. I will be buying more

If it solidifies, just put the bottle in a small container of hot water. It will melt enough to use in a few minutes. I keep a plastic container in the shower that I fill with hot water and drop the bottle in while I shower. I can then apply the oil on my damp skin before getting out. Works great!

I have ordered Babassu Oil from another company and it was great. I went to order more and decided to try this company. THE OIL IS COMPLETELY SOLID INSIDE OF A POUR CONTAINER!!!! Who in their right mind thought THIS was a good idea?!??! Now, anytime I want to use this, I have to heat it up in a microwave. Then when it cools it hardens again in this stupid container!!!! NEVER AGAIN! (Pictures show the solid oil inside of container being completely full and how it won't pour anything out)
